How does an Electrofusion Welder Work?

 

The electrofusion welding machine for HDPE pipe provides the electric energy needed for the heating coil. When the coil is electrified, the material adjacent to it melts, forming an expansion pool in contact with the surface of the pipe. The continuous introduction of heat energy will lead to the melting of the pipe surface. At the end of the thermal cycle, the pipe fittings and pipes will cool, and the melted material will solidify and form a good joint.

 

The electrothermal fusion welding machine electrifies the electric melting zone and heats up the electric heating wire in the electric melting zone. The heat energy melts the surface of the pipe and pipe fittings, and then the plastic pipe is fused together according to cold fusion welding. Each area ensures that the melting is controlled to the exact length of the connector socket, and the pitch and positioning of the coil relative to the inner surface of the socket are precisely controlled, ensuring a uniform heat distribution.
