HDPE pipes have excellent performance, including good flexibility, corrosion resistance, and wear resistance, making them highly recommended. To address this, a bimodal high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin with a rated pressure of 82 °C (180 °F) has been developed for demanding piping applications.

Otherwise, excessive melt will be extruded from the parts, resulting in a reduced inner diameter of the water.
