The LHY1600 is a CNC controlled hydraulically operated butt-welding machine designed for HDPE & PP pipes and fittings ranging from 1000 to 1600mm. With its simple operation using CNC control through a mobile tablet, this machine offers convenience and ease of use. HDPE Butt Fusion Steps

 

The HDPE butt fusion process involves the following steps:

 

  1. The two PE pipes to be installed and connected are placed on the HDPE butt fusion machine clamp at the same time. The clamp can be replaced according to the diameter of the pipe to be installed. The other end of each pipe is supported to the same horizontal plane with a pipe bracket.



  2.  
  3. The end face of the pipe is cut flat with an electric rotary knife to ensure that the contact surface of the two pipes can fully match. Then, the electric heating plate is heated to 210 °C and placed in the middle of the end faces of the two pipes. The HD pipe joint machine is operated to ensure that the two end faces are fully heated in contact with the electric heating plate simultaneously.



  4.  
  5. After the heating meets the requirements, remove the heating plate and operate the butt welding machine hydraulic device again to fully dock the end faces of the two melted pipes. Lock the hydraulic device to prevent rebound.



  6.  
  7. During plastic fusion welding, the pipe crimping thickness and docking time should strictly meet the material process requirements. It is recommended to refer to the technical parameters and specification requirements provided by butt welder manufacturers.
